Residency in Armenia
Kostandyan & Partners assists with obtaining temporary and permanent residence permits in the Republic of Armenia — from document submission through to obtaining status.
Benefits of resident status: full access to banking services, including international transfers; simplified or visa-free entry to more than 80 countries; a simple procedure without excessive bureaucracy; average processing time of around 6 months.
Grounds for temporary residency (up to 1 year): education under formal or non-formal programs; employment under a work visa; having a close relative in Armenia — a spouse, parent, or child who is a citizen or resident of the RA; conducting entrepreneurial activity; Armenian ethnicity; officially registered volunteer activity.
Grounds for permanent residency (5 years): having a family member who is a citizen of the RA, with confirmed housing and means of subsistence, and at least 3 years of temporary status within the last 5 years; conducting business in Armenia with the same length of temporary status; making investments in the Republic of Armenia; Armenian ethnicity or special merit before the RA.
Registration procedure: collecting a package of documents (passport, health certificate, bank account, registration at place of residence, individual entrepreneur registration if required) and submission to the migration authority. The decision is made within 30 days of submitting the application. Full client support by a company representative at every stage.
Company services: obtaining a social security number; notarized passport translation; individual entrepreneur registration; opening a bank account with consultation on bank selection; obtaining a health certificate; submission of residence permit documents; assistance with registration at place of residence. Additionally, by separate arrangement — accompaniment to government agencies, document apostille, and legal support on matters of rental, real estate, taxation, and obtaining a driver's license.

Armenian Citizenship
As part of our support in the procedure for obtaining citizenship of the Republic of Armenia, we can provide the client with comprehensive legal and organizational assistance at all stages — from the preliminary assessment of legal grounds to the actual receipt of the passport of a citizen of the Republic of Armenia.
The basic service package includes:

Initial consultation on the procedure for obtaining citizenship of the Republic of Armenia, including timelines, requirements, possible legal grounds, and required documents;

Analysis of the legal grounds for submitting an application for citizenship, including;

Acquisition of citizenship on the basis of ethnic Armenian origin;

Aquisition of citizenship through naturalization, subject to lawful residence in Armenia for the period prescribed by law;

Acquisition of citizenship on the basis of marriage to a citizen of the Republic of Armenia;

Preliminary assessment of the client’s documents and determination of which documents must be prepared, translated, notarized, legalized, or apostilled;

Legal analysis of documents confirming the client’s Armenian origin, marital status, lawful residence in Armenia, registration at the place of residence, residence permit, work permit, or other legal grounds for stay;

Preparation of a complete package of documents for submitting an application for citizenship in accordance with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Armenia;

Organization of notarized translation and notarization of the documents required for submission of the application.
